2010-08-07 - on a plane to France

Öresundsbron (Øresundsbroen in Danish, [link]) is a bridge between Malmö (Sweden) and Copenhagen (Denmark). I think it looks much better from far (had a chance to go by car over it this year) and I'm very happy that it's there so that I can easily access the CPH airport

Öresundsförbindelsen is a correct word as well?
It is a great construction and a true experience to pass it (i did it by train).
Your photo is really nice. Watching it from far above is amazing!

well, since förbindelse means connection I guess you can say that ^^ but I've never heard it myself!
I pass it by train so many times that it almost post it's charm, but it's a really, really cool thing that bridge ^^ makes life much easier

And seeing it from the plane was a great experience, not to mention being able to capture it on a photo!

That bridge is really impressing from this height, especially since the road on the Danish side seems to sprout out of nowhere!!! And what a weird shape for an island

Amazing one you've got there! People usually rent helicopters to get that sort of shot but you were flying on some random plane...

I was lucky. One other time I saw it from the window, but I didn't have the camera in my hand! (could have been even better because that was the only time I remember taking off from CPH while it was actually sunny!)
Isn't it kinda freaky that it just disappears mid-sea?

And it's true, the island is weird shaped (is totally artificial)
